Professional Gear

I believe that in order to provide the highest quality photos, it is important to have the highest quality gear. I have been using Nikon equipment for about 15 years. I actually found my first Nikon 35mm camera in a restaurant, and after nobody claimed it, it was mine! Not long after that, I purchased my first film Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera in the early 2000′s… The Nikon N65. It suited it’s purpose at the time, but the digital age came along and revolutionized photography.

After seeing the possibilities that the digital world offered, I made the jump from film to digital and have not looked back! I feel fortunate that I’ve been able to continue using Nikon equipment and have invested in a top of the line system. Listed below is the equipment that I’m currently using.

Camera

• Nikon D800 - My pride and joy. Simply stated, I love this camera! Everything about this camera is just amazing.

Lenses

• Nikon 24-70mm - When I need to get that wide shot or dealing with close quarters, this is my go to lens.
• Nikon 70-200mm - My absolute favorite portrait lens! This gives me the reach needed and the beautiful blurred backgrounds that everyone desires.

Miscellaneous other things

• Nikon SB800    Lightweight, portable, and powerful. Two of these flashes provide all the extra light I need.
• Lastolite EzyBox Softbox    I love using this when I need to add a little soft light to the scene.
